Remembering Lou

This site was created for all of us who loved Louis P. Ferris, Jr.
A place to share our memories and remember the good times.

Story

MARCH 29, 1943

A legend. A mystery. A force to be reckoned with.

He was the guy who, at 16, could woo the nuns, convince the priests, and sell ice cream freezers to an eskimo.   He had charm, charisma, and could convince most people that the sky was green even if it was blue.

He was our dad.  Your brother, grandfather, uncle, friend, partner, colleague, boss, and most likely one who motivated and inspired you.

He was hard, yet soft.
He was intense, yet laid back.
He pushed us, yet pulled us.

He worked hard, yet played hard.

He was a leader and never a follower.

He cherished his family.

He loved his friends.

He cared for the unfortunate.

This is Lou.  The Legend, the mystery, the force that we sought to reckon with.
